Infrastructure

The link between infrastructure and economic development is not a once and for all affair. It is a continuous process; and progress in development has to be preceded, accompanied, and followed by progress in infrastructure, if we are to fulfill our declared objectives of generating a self-accelerating process of economic development.

The importance of infrastructure for sustained economic development and improving the living standards of the population is well recognized. With Indian economy moving on to a high growth trajectory facilitated by a consistent and steady growth of 8 - 9% in the recent years, there is a critical need to accelerate investments in the infrastructure sector. The firm managing the infrastructure domain for the group is Shree Krishna Enterprises. SKE’s main thrust is in construction and upgrading of canals and dams using modern technology and equipment. Till now we have completed the following infrastructure PROJECTS, viz.

• *  Bisalpur Dam, right canal
• *  Bisalpur Canal Aquiduct, between 14th Kilometer to 19th Kilometer
• *  Chainpura Minor from Right Canal of Bisalpur Dam
• *  Raising and strengthening of Mansarowar Dam, district Sawai Madhopur
• *  The construction of Bhanwar Semla project, a masonary dam in Chittorgarh is underway
